Ramen has been so popular in the Philippines nowadays. There has been a lot of local and international ramen restaurants everywhere. There's also a list every now and then of the top ramens in town. Just in Makati alone, you could find a lot of ramen places especially in their little tokyo and especially in malls too.
I was invited by a friend to try out this ramen place in RCBC Plaza. Ramen Kuroda is located at the 3rd Floor of the RCBC Plaza here in Makati. They offer ramen with homemade noodles and a very flavorful broth.
For tonight, me and my friends tried their Aka Ramen, Kuro Ramen and their Gyoza.
The Aka Ramen (P180.00) is their spicy flavored tonkotsu ramen. The ramen soup is not very rich but still full of flavors. The spiciness level is also tolerable for me. The roasted pork is also juicy and well seasoned. A bowl of hot and generously served ramen that is Masarap without reservations.
The Kuro Ramen (P180.00) is their garlic flavor tonkotsu ramen. The ramen soup is also not that rich but still packed with flavors especially the taste of toasted garlic. The roasted pork is pretty much well cooked and juicy too. Masarap without reservations.
As additional to our ramen, we also tried their Gyoza (P100.00). Four pieces of hot and mildy flavored gyoza that is perfect addition to your meal. Masarap without reservations.
What I love about this place is that their serving is really quite fast. The place is also very simple since they offer fast meals for people whose always in a hurry or has a very limited time to dine. The ramen servings are also very generous enough at P180.00. Their ramen is delicious and affordable. My personal rating for the restaurant is a 3.5 out of 5.
