Sarsa Kitchen + Bar

Sarsa Kitchen + Bar is a restaurant located in Rada Street, Legazpi Village, makati City. It offers Filipino dishes with a twist from Chef Jayps. I had the chance to visit the place for a lunch out with some officemates. They personally recommended the place since it is a bit new within the area.

When you check out their menu, you could see that mostly all of the dishes had something additional on it, making it a bit out of the ordinary. You should see a (+) sign on every dish. When I visisted the place we ordered Lechon Manok Pansit Canton + Chili Garlic Oil, Lechon Kawali + Batwan Tsokolate and Pinakurat, Thin Cut Liempo + Native Coffee and Burong Vinegar and Bugtaw-bugtaw (Gising Gising) + Ginamos.

Lechon Manok Pansit Canton + Chili Garlic Oil (P195.00), Pancit Canton topped with chuncks of lechon manik and cornik bits. I love the instant crunchiness that the cornik is giving to the dish. The pancit is well seasoned and it is perfect with a dash of chili garlic oil. Masarap without reservations.
Lechon Kawali  + Batwan Tsokolate and Pinakurat (P270.00), a serving of lechon kawali with vinegar and chocolate dip on the side. I liked the lechon kawali with the pinakurat but not with the chocolate. But, I liked the chocolate for dessert. Masarap with a bit of reservation.
Thin Cut Liempo  + Native Coffee and Burong Vinegar (P240.00), I liked this one better that their lechon kawali. I liked the dip which is very much perfect for the liempo. Masarap without reservation.
Bugtaw-Bugtaw(Gising Gising) + Ginamos (190.00),  this is Sarsa's version of Gising Gising with Ginamos or Bagoong on top. I suggest you mix the whole dish first before eating. I liked this one with the added bagoong flavor. Masarap without reservations.
Overall, the food here were good and servings can fit around 2 to 3 people. The service is pretty nice and a bit fast considering it was lunch time when I visited the place. The restaurant looks simple and neat although when I visited the place I think the exhaust was not working, so we ended up smelling like food too. Nevertheless, my personal rating with the restaurant is a 3.5 out of 5.

Food: 4.0
Service: 3.5
