Memoirs from a Food Crawl, Spice & Cleaver
Food crawling's a really fun thing to do if you wanted to try new food while enjoying the company of friends. Me and my foodie friends decided to food crawl in Estancia Mall with our second stop at Spice & Cleaver.
The restaurant is known for a variety of sausages they offer. It's also a perfect place for meat lovers. We grabbed some sausages decided to try their The Mask and Three Little Pigs. A piece cost P280.00 while 2 pieces costs P480.00. It also includes a serving of mashed potatoes and sauerkraut.
The Mask is an all time Filipino pulutan inside a sausage. I realized it's like sisig fit in a sausage. The Mask has pork face and even ears which is a normal in a pork sisig recipe. There's a bit bitter taste in the sausage but it's juicy and tasty. Masarap without reservations.
The Three Little Pig has a very rich meat taste compared to The Mask. It has three meats including bacon, chorizo and bratwurst. The three meat blended well together. Masarap without reservations.
They offer really good mashed potato while the sauerkraut tasted a bit ticklish. The two are the opposite of each other and may or may not compliment your food depending on your preference. I like the mashed potato better though.
My personal rating for the restaurant:
