Memoirs from a Food Crawl, Tipsy Pig
Tipsy Pig is gastropub located at Capitol Commons that offers good food and a wide selection of drinks. The restaurant offers good seats for a night out or a big group gathering. I had the chance to try something here as part of our food crawl in Capitol Commons. We had their Smoked Salmon Pizza, Sisig platter and Tipsy's Southern Fried Chicken.
Smoked Salmon Pizza P460.00, smoked salmon, dill and cream cheese on beer crust pizza. The combination of the smoked salmon and cream cheese tasted a bit salty for me. Hindi masarap with reservations.
Belly Good Sisig Tacos P280.00, crispy pork belly sisig wrapped in tortilla with Asian soy garlic sauce. A new way to eat sisig by wrapping it inside a tortilla wrap. It tasted really good together with the Asian soy garlic sauce. I can eat this on a single bite. Masarap without reservations.
Tipsy's Southern Fried Chicken P395.00, fried Nola spiced chicken with a side of mashed potatoes or roasted baby potatoes or rice. Lightly seasoned chicken that is crispy outside and tender inside. Some might find the chicken a bit bland but the gravy will make it better. Masarap with a bit of reservations.
