Big D's Smokehouse, Eastwood

Big D's Smokehouse, a restaurant that offers South American Style Ribs, a bit of Tex-Mex, some pulled pork dishes and burgers. They are currently serving good food at their branches in Libis and Tomas Morato, Quezon City. I recently had the chance to visit their Libis branch which is located at the second floor of the Eastwood Citywalk 2. They're also planning to open a third outlet in BGC soon.
We're personally greeted by their chef and part owner Dino Peralta and we're soon indulged with some of the restaurant best dishes.

When you're at Big D's Smokehouse, check out their Start Up Nachos (Duo P150.00 / Platter P250.00), this is Big D's Original and most ordered appetizer. What's amazing is that they make their own nacho chips instead of serving ready made ones. Their homemade nachos are light and crispy. We tried their beef topping though you can choose between beef or pulled pork for an additional P15.00. It's my first time to try homemade nachos and Big D's nachos is definitely masarap without reservations. Must try!
You should also check out their Hush Puppies (P175.00), it's like cheeseballs with combination of cheddar mozarella and parmesan cheese with some roasted pimientos. Served with their garlic ranch dip, this starter should be eaten while it's hot. Better have your food photo really quick and eat it quickly. Masarap without reservation. Must try!
Their Southern Style Pulled Pork Sandwich (P220.00), a southern style slow cooked pulled pork in tangy chilly-seasoned BBQ sauce. It's served with coleslaw and onions on a freshly baked bun. Their  pulled pork is really good with its mild tangy barbecue sauce. I just thought that the pork has too much juices it made the bun soggy (Just a personal preference). Masarap with a bit of reservation.
I really loved their Homestyle Meatloaf (P240.00) which is made out of three meat. This baked goodness is very well seasoned. It's topped with a creamy mushroom sauce and it comes with their delicious dirty rice. I actually prefer their plain or garlic rice because the meatloaf alone is very tasty. Masarap without reservations. Must try!
You should also order their BIG Pulled Pork Burrito (P220.00). It's a medley of pulled pork, tex-mex rice, cheese sauce, ranch and cheese. It's wrapped in their homemade tortilla and it's serve with their homemade nacho chip. A very tasty full meal that can serve two people. Masarap without reservations. Must try!
Big D's Smokehouse is also the Home of Manila's BIGGEST Taco. Their Monster Taco (P215.00 Beef / P220.00 Pulled Pork) is a full 9 inch taco goodness with shredded lettuce, cheese, salsa and lots of cheese. Big size taco that's also big in taste. Definitely masarap without reservations. Must Try!
You should not miss their Stage 2 Ribs Duo (P390.00). Half slab of ribs served with rice and your choice of sides. Classic slow roasted slab of rib that's dry rubbed and basted with their signature barbecue sauce. It's really tender and masarap without reservation. Must try!
Big D's Smokehouse is truly one of the must try restaurant in Eastwood Citywalk 2. They serve mouth watering food in big servings. Best for family gathering or night out with friends. The restaurant also offer a small smoking dining area if you wanted to do your thing.
