Zomato Food Run : Arrozeria BGC

The second stop of the Zomato Food Run in BGC is at Arrozeria.  A restaurant that offers various Spanish cuisine and boasting its authentic Spanish Paella. The restaurant was able to have a partnership with International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) to produce a somewhat similar rice to the Spanish Bomba rice, which is normally used in the local Paella in Spain.
With its spacious and very lively interior, Arrozeria is a sure hit for family gatherings and even a good night out with friends.
While we're waiting for Paella, they served us Lengua Salpicao and Romesco Bread Crumbs. A complimentary from the restaurant that’s not included in their menu. This crispy, tasty and very well-seasoned bite size dish is perfect to start our stay in Arrozeria. Masarap, without reservations.
We also had a serving of Lengua Frita. Deep fried Angus Ox tongue in béchamel sauce served with tartar sauce on the side. Knowing what lengua is, I'm surprised that it actually tasted like corned beef. It’s like biting a tender chunk of corned beef with that crispy breading on the outside. Masarap without reservations.
We got the chance to check out their Paella del Señorito which has boneless chicken and peeled seafood. You can choose whether you’ll have it Al Dente and thin or Soft and Wet. The Spanish liked their Paella Al Dente while the Asians prefer it soft and wet. We're served the Asian version and it 's good. It has shrimp, mussels, squid and chicken chunks. Definitely a must try.
My personal rating to the restaurant:
