When In Naga: Try out Red Platter's Special Halo Halo
I recently visited the province of Camarines Sur as one of my summer getaway. Since it was all too hot, I've been craving for some cold and delicious Halo Halo in Bicol. I've tried DJC Halo Halo when I visited Legazpi in 2012 and it was really good. So here in Naga, there's a bunch of restaurants that you can find Only in Naga, of course.
So since I was craving for Halo Halo, my colleague invited me to check out Red Platter. The restaurant is located along Magsaysay Ave., Naga City and it offers mostly Filipino favorites that looks really tempting. Since we just had our dinner, I immediately ordered their Halo sa Buko which is Halo Halo served in a fresh buko.
Their Halo sa Buko can fit for one to two person. I just ordered one for myself and it took me a little time t fully consume it. It has generous toppings with scoops of Ube ice cream too. The ice is not that fine like Razon's Halo Halo but this can fairly step up. This is masarap without reservations.
Check them out on your next visit to Naga City.
