Yakumi, A Japanese Feast

I was invited for a special event by Zomato Philippines and Yakumi at Solaire Resort & Casino. Since I haven't been to Solaire I immediately said yes. It was a brunch engagement and I was excited for this one. Yakumi is a Japanese restaurant in Solaire Resort & Casino. For a limited run during this holiday season, they are offering a Japanese Buffet Feast every Saturdays.

So here is a glimpse of what Yakumi's buffet has to offer.

Of course they will have Sushi and Sashimi. You can actually see the Japanese cooks preparing the Sushi and Sashimi piece by piece. They do not stack up a lot and it is kind of a good thing since you can see that everything is made fresh.

On one side of their buffet area, you can find their Vegetables and Various Salad from seaweed to potatoes as well as fresh greens. I really love munching on some Edamame.

They also have some Noodles if ever you're craving for some Soba or Yaki Udon. They also have Ramen but it is served upon order.

 And there's Sukiyaki too.

One of my favorite part is their Meat section. Here you can have some good Rib Eye Steak which you can cook according to your likeness. They have some sliced steak already but you can always have your own fresh grilled steak. I just love my steak, it's juicy and simply tasty.

On the other side of the buffet area, you can find their Seafood section. They have Tiger Prawns and lots of fish for grilling. I really love their seafood because it's really good. According to their Chef, their seafoods are never frozen. It is delivered fresh daily. Simply amazing right?

If you like some good classic Japanese dishes, they also have some Crispy Fried Chicken, Pork Cutlets and Gyudon.

Now all of those above are perfect with rice right? So where's the rice? They just happen to have a special room where they do Fried Rice and Stir Fry Vegetables. It's really great.

After all those yummy dishes, it's now time for dessert. Well, it just happens that they also have this room for their Crepe. You should see how they will set your crepe on fire, literally. They have amazing toppings like blueberry, strawberry and ripe mangoes.

Oh and they also have Ice Cream. They have various flavors like Non Fat Vanilla, Ube and Matcha.

They also have a seperate dessert section which I forgot to visit since I am so full already. They also serve Tempura which I also forgot to order. It is in a seperate menu together with the ramen, but it's also included in the buffet.

Yakumi's Buffet is up every Saturdays and it is priced at P2,688.00 (plus 10% service charge).
